You can register for the 2004 National Summit for Community Wireless Networks either by mail or online (a credit card will be required for online registration). Your registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments on Saturday and Sunday. Other meals will be on your own, but there will an optional reception on Friday following the opening plenary session. The standard registration fee is $75; students and participants who can demonstrate financial need can pay a discounted fee of $30.

Note that strong attendance and financial support from generous organizations and individuals have allowed us to hold keep registration fees at their original levels! Thanks for your support!

TRAVEL

The Siebel Center for Computer Science is located at 201 N. Goodwin Ave in Urbana, IL, about 10 minutes by automobile from Willard Airport or about 2.5 hours from Chicago. Bus service between Chicago airports and Champaign-Urbana is available from Bluebird and Lincolnland Express. We've tried to set things up so that participants will only have to lose one weekday to come to the Summit, but you'll probably want to check out the schedule of events before making specific travel plans.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Hotels in Champaign-Urbana seem to be rapidly filling up the weekend of the summit; we'll have more recommendations, but you may wish to click here to see Google's local search results for hotels near the Siebel Center. Alternative accommodations, such as homestays with local volunteers, may also be available - please e-mail us for more information.
